About The Calathea Rufibarba Plant

    Rufibarba comes from the Marantaceae family. This tropical perennial, also known as velvet cathea or furry feather cathea, has leaves that resemble fluffy feathers. This plant is ideal for your house and place of business because it can give you the impression that you are in a small garden while it is standing alone. Amazing foliage is their USP.

    While their foliage is huge, taking care of them is not so rocket science! Just keep them away from direct sunlight and their watering guide is also quite sorted: every 5-6 days in summer and every 10-14 days in winter. The best place to put them will be your living room.

    The most frequent factor in the death of a Calathea is overwatering, which results in root rot. Keep the soil barely damp rather than sopping wet. Overwatering causes many problems in Rufibarba like yellowing of leaves, tips turning brown, offensive smell, or After watering, the soil remains wet for a very long time.

    Happy to receive a good variety of plant from kyari. Plant is present in pot though choice of pot color is random.Plant arrived with lot of leaves dried and plant 🪴 also had broken twigs.Gave water, teimmed and kept in open air away from son and in three weeks new leaves are coming. So happy.
